The First Weigh-In
Well, so due to timing issues I've made my first weigh-in 10 days after starting the plan. It happened to coincide with my 35th birthday. Who's having fun now, mofo?
The good news: I have lost 10.2 pounds. The bad news: It's a long trip ahead.
I'm pretty happy with that result. It's been interesting seeing the small but noticeable mental and physical changes. I'm a lot more hungry than I used to be, which is a good thing since I'm eating a lot less! I haven't had to deprive myself too much... just trying to "right-size" my meals.
There's a strong sense of accomplishment just from having committed to the plan, but I wish I could fast-forward the calendar like 8 weeks to really get this thing moving. It feels like the longest 10 days of my life. I spend so much time thinking about what I'm going to eat, figuring out points, then recording it. Now I'm blogging about it. I'm becoming obsessed!
