The Big Weigh-In... Week 7: -2.0 lbs.

I've been resisting weighing myself every day. On the contrary, my DW has made this a bit of a hobby. She and I are both numbers people, as I work in the field of Compensation and she is a Systems Engineer. She breaks the "rule" of weekly weigh-ins by doing multiple daily weigh-ins. I think she likes to see how her weight progresses on an hourly basis. If our scale could produce a computer output, I think that would please us both.

I think a guy's weight doesn't fluctuate during the day/week as much as a woman's, probably due to all that womanly stuff. Whatever works.

I'm actually quite surprised that I lost any weight at all this week, let alone 2 pounds! I was in a professional seminar/class for 2.5 days and had to make some tough choices during the lunch and snack times. They weren't very health friendly for their snacks. I confess I had a chocolate cookie the first day at snack time and had a really good (really good) brownie the second day. I tried to account for the points as best I could, and realistically went over my daily allotment almost every day. I didn't use all my flex points, however.

So I expected this to be a light week, but instead I'm stoked to see a 2.0 pound drop! Now I'm only 2.0 pounds away from my 10%, and 10.8 lbs away from ONEderland, which I'm hoping to see before I go on my week-long vacation at the beach at the end of July. Onward, ho!
