When you don't plan: Eating out sucks!!!!!
So today being Friday and Lent, I decided to go out for lunch. McBp and I do a brown bag lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we eat out the rest of the week.
McBp is out of the office on travel so a few of my co-workers and I went to Firehouse for lunch. So I figured I'd have a Tuna Sandwich (no meat on Friday's during Lent). Well that medium Tuna sandwich was 14 pts. I did not have cheese with it and yes I knew it had mayo, but I figured its tuna. Little did I know when I got back that the tuna (610 cal) was the 4th worst in caloric intake (Meatball was 800 cal) out of all the subs at Firehouse.

Fast forward to tonight. I have been wanting to go to Dontatos since I have been craving pizza. McBp said it was low in points and good. I have had the Nodough pizza before and it was pretty tasty. So I ordered the Serious Cheese Individual Nodough Pizza, thinking it would be the healthiest. Well 11.5 pts later, I ate a plate of cheese and tomato sauce and am still hungry. I could have had the Vegy Individual Nodough Pizza (9.5pts). Thought the plain would be better. I also could have gone home and used Flat out and made a bigger pizza for the half of 11.5 pts.
So the lesson learned is do some prep work before going out and you will save some points and enjoy a better meal. Well off to work out, gotta keep my promise. Let you know my weigh in results tomorrow. Think slim!
